The typical harvest day starts with a wake-up around 06:30 a.m..  You have until around 07:30 a.m. to eat breakfast either at the motel or at a local restaurant.  We will then head to the field.  When you arrive at the field, the grain cart operators will fuel the combines and grain cart while the combine operators grease their machines and tighten chains as needed.  We will be cutting wheat when the moisture is low enough and conditions are right.  Lunch will be served anywhere from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m..  We will harvest into the evening until conditions stop us from harvesting.
